Frank is appointed to the Board of Directors for Lakeshore Arts, a community arts council that provides free and accessible programming to local youth, mentoring and career opportunities for youth, employment for local artists, as well as networking and advocacy services and supports the revitalization of South Etobicoke making it THE place to live, work, shop and play.

Frank is proud to present his Fall Kids & Adult Student Recitals at the Church of the Transfiguration, Toronto. This was the Tenth Anniversary of the recitals! Special thanks to the very talented Thompson Egbo-Egbo and Kathleen Gorman for their guest performances.

Frank adjudicated and conducted a master class for piano students in Kitchener-Waterloo, as part of Contemporary Showcase, a festival featuring music composed by Canadians, held during Canada Music Week in various cities across Canada.

Congratulations to Frank's students, Keira, Christopher, and Cecilia for their performances at the ORMTA Auditions & Scholarship Recitals. ORMTA stands for the Ontario Registered Music Teachers' Association. This group organizes auditions where students develop their performance skills and receive helpful adjudication. Students who deliver a particularly fine audition are invited to perform at a Scholarship recital. Extra kudos to Keira & Cecilia for being recipients of scholarships!

Frank performs a full-length piano recital in Oakville, Ontario at St. Simon's Anglican Church, 1450 Litchfield Dr, off Trafalgar Rd., north of Hwy 403. Frank will perform his own piano compositions and improvisations along with works by Erik Satie and Philip Glass. Special guest, pianist, Irina Semenova will join him to perform a Mendelssohn duet, and solo repertoire by Chopin. Tickets $15, free admission for children under 14. Also appearing, Timothy David & The Rhythm Section and Elissa Mielke. $5 cover - proceeds to the Freeway, an innovative, non-profit, fair trade coffee house and community commons in Hamilton that is committed to re-investing in the local and global community.

Classical Discoveries is aired every Wednesday 6-8:30 AM.
