Frank was the 2026 Artist-in-Residence at the Woodhaven Eco Culture Centre, part of the University of British Columbia’s Okanagan campus. During his residency, he gave the first outdoor performance of his epic solo piano work, Earth Hour, began composing Earth Hour 3, and forged a deeper connection with nature.
Confined in Everyday Scenes, new music for cello and electronics commissioned by Joann Whang, illuminates the hidden truths of modern-day slavery and human trafficking. Workshopped at the Canadian Music Centre. Premiered at the Open Ears Festival.

Each piece in this series begins with an intention — a word chosen by the commissioner that captures a feeling, a longing, a state of mind. Spencer Brand‘s is ‘clarity’. Marie Bennett‘s is ‘serenity’. From that single idea, a new musical meditation drawn from the elemental world of the Arctic is created.
Latest recording featuring pianist Vicky Chow – The Banff Suite takes you on an intense, beautiful, and epic musical journey through Banff National Park, a UNESCO World Heritage Site famed for its towering peaks, turquoise lakes, and unforgettable trails. Released on Redshift Records.
